We have 5 divisions:

6U/ T-ball

8U/ Coach Pitch

10U/ Mini Minors

12U/ Minors

14/16U Majors

PLEASE NOTE: If your player decides not to participate you must notify the league before the player draft takes place after evaluations. Failure to do so will result in loss of your registration fee.

After registering, the league will send out a confirmation email. After that it will be up to you to please follow along on our social media outlets for the most up to date information or inquire with any questions not addressed below. Please follow us on social media; We update our Facebook & Instagram & use this for the majority of off-season communication.

Our Spring season will run from September to November. The age division for your child goes by their age as of December 31,2024. (Players can always move up if agreed upon by the Board of Directors, but cannot play in a younger division, if not eligible by DOB.)

-Girls aged 4 years old to 16 can play.

•Registration WILL CLOSE on 8/1/2025 to ensure we have everything ordered in a timely manner for our players. Children may also be placed on a waiting list based on coaches that volunteer; registration is first come first served.

•The cost for T-ball is $50 and includes a jersey. Girls must be 4 years old prior to the start of the season. You cannot use the early bird discount for T-Ball.

•The cost for our players in 8U, 10U, 12U & 14+ Divisions is $145 and that includes a jersey, along with other league fees. There is an early Bird Discount of $25 if you sign up before 07/08/2025. After 08/2/2025 the rate goes to $160 as it will be considered late registration.

•We will be holding Evaluation Days for all divisions, except T-Ball, at Miss Venice Fields, to run drills and begin forming teams.

-The practice and game schedules WILL NOT be created until registration closes and teams are formed. 

-Practice schedules may vary based on your child's coach. Practices will usually be 1 time per week, for 1.5 hours each and games will be 1- time per week, for no longer than 1-hour 15minutes depending on age. Games & practices could be held on weeknights or weekends.

-MVFP is a Non-Profit organization, and all our volunteers including Board Members & Coaches are on a volunteer/unpaid basis. If you have experience in softball/baseball, we would welcome you to help coach one of our teams! Coaching a team is a great experience that you and your child will never forget. We have opportunities available for coaching, team mom, concession positions if you are interested. (Everyone must pass a background check for the safety of our players.) Per MVFP, no parent is allowed in the dugout or on the field without passing a background check.
